Our upland bird program is designed specifically for enjoyment and the challenges of open field and plantation pine hunting.

Buck Ridge Plantation operates under a preserve license. Pheasant, quail and chukar abound, offering you the opportunity to shoot a high volume harvest. Expert guides and quality bird dogs help ensure a successful, memorable hunt.

Choose from several hunts and breeds of dogs, from Brittanys and Setters in the pines to English Pointers and German Shorthairs in the fields. You'll find plenty of action as the dogs make point after point and give this walk-in-the-park a little added zest. There is nothing like the startling effect of a pheasant when it flushes from cover. Enjoy a traditional quail hunt or change it up a bit with a quarry of mixed game.

Pheasant Tower Hunt

Buck Ridge Plantation — long known for some of the finest pheasant hunting in South Carolina — now offers tower hunting.

Pheasants are released from the tower, climbing high above the trees, giving hunters a fun, fast and challenging hunting opportunity.

• 100 Pheasants released
• Minimum of 10 hunters
• Maximum of 20 hunters
• $150.00 per hunter
• A hearty breakfast or lunch included

All hunts are private and must be booked in advance.

Note: Check-in time is after 5:00 p.m. on the day before your scheduled hunt.
